Jeongyoon Lee Associate Professor
Jeongyoon Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Public Administration at Ewha Womans University. Her research and teaching focus on policy decision-making and implementation, network governance, nonprofit management, and energy and resource policy. She earned her B.A. and M.A. in Public Administration from Ewha Womans University and received her Ph.D. in Public Administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the State University of New York at Albany. Before joining Ewha Womans University, she served as an Associate Professor and Director of the Master of Public Policy (MPP) and Master of Administration (MPA) programs at the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration, University of Kentucky. She also held a faculty appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Ball State University. Her research has been published in leading journals in public administration and policy, including Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Management Review, Policy & Politics, Review of Public Personnel Administration, and Nonprofit Management & Leadership. She currently serves on the editorial boards of Public Administration Review (PAR) and the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory (JPART), and is the Book Review Editor for the International Review of Public Administration. Her scholarly contributions have been recognized with several awards, including the Academy of Management Public and Nonprofit Section Best Conference Paper Award (2018, 2023, 2026), American Society of Public Administration Section Complexity Network Studies Sam Overman Award (2021), the Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy (2016), and the Staats Emerging Scholars Award from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) (2015).
