Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Held 2023 THE BEST Hybrid Class Case Presentation Workshop

On November 1st (Wed), the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning held the 2023 THE BEST Hybrid Class Case Presentation Workshop at Daesan Gallery in ECC. THE BEST Hybrid Class Case Presentation Workshop, first held in 2022, aims to share the best practices of hybrid classes among faculty and staff members at Ewha and to make THE BEST hybrid class a signature model leading Ewha’s educational innovation.
In the first session, Director Hyunju Lee presented the current state and future goals of THE BEST hybrid classes. She explained the current state, perception, and future goals of the hybrid class at Ewha. Following Director Lee, Professor Ha-na Park introduced various ways to provide hybrid classes in her presentation.
In the second session, faculty members shared their experience of providing hybrid classes in the spring semester. Professor Yoonjung Choi at the Social Studies Education Department offered various tips and know-how from her experiences. Professor Yujin Choi at the Public Administration Department shared her experience, explaining how she provided her case-based hybrid class step by step.
At the following panel discussion, participants had a Q&A session to share their issues and insights on providing hybrid classes. Participants said they learned about various assistance for professors, which are by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. They also found the workshop informative, for they could learn a lot on providing better hybrid classes.”
