Prof. Yang Hee-dong has taken office as the 14th chairman of the Korea Intellectual Management Association

The Korea Intellectual Management Association started with the first academic symposium in 1998 and has been engaged in various academic activities such as publishing Knowledge Management Research (four times a year), a registered journal of the Korea Research Foundation, holding Spring and Autumn academic conferences, and awarding the Knowledge Management Grand Prize since the launch of the main academic conference in October 1999. It has developed the best academic conference in Korea. Its chairman's term is two years from 2020 to 2021. Yang Hee-dong graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in business administration and went through to achieve a master's degree at the same school before acquiring Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University in the U.S. Professor Yang Hee-dong, an expert in MIS and e-commerce, has been conducting research on corporate information using new technologies in IT such as blockchain, cloud and big data.
 Professor Yang has served as the head of the Information Service Promotion Committee, the head of the Business Management Research Institute, and the dean of the Graduate School of Management since his inauguration at this school, and has held various other positions, including vice chairman and director of the Management Information Society (KMIS), editor of the Management Research Institute, and director of the Korea Intellectual Management Association. In 2012, he was honored by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
