Jungsu Park, professor of the Department of Public Administration, received the Hongjogeun Junghoon award on the 54th taxpayer’s day
Jungsu Park, professor of the Department of Public Administration (Dean of the College of Social Science, dean of the Graduate school of Policy Sciences) got awarded the Hongjogeun Junghoon award on the 54th taxpayer’s day.
On March 4, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance held the 54th "Taxer's Day" ceremony and awarded medals directly to a total of nine people, while Professor Park Jungsu was awarded the "Hongjo Geun-jeong Medal" for his contribution to advancing the tax system and establishing effective tax policies.
Professor Park Jungsu is an authority on research on fiscal policy and budget. As a member of the "Advanced Advisory Committee on the Performance of Special Taxation," he was given the award in recognition of his success in establishing a tax expenditure budget and a tax exemption assessment system. This was done by continuously consulting on the operation of mid to long-term tax policy management plans, and conducting research on mid to long-term operations in terms of the total amount of financial and value added tax.
Professor Park Jeong-soo was selected as a meritorious person in the field of local finance by the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs in 2015, and received a commendation from the Minister of Government Administration and Home Affairs, and is currently serving as a chairman of the Korea Policy Association.
