Ewha Womans University has received a donation to its Development Fund from the fashion brand Christian Dior Couture Korea Ltd.
The donation was made as part of the global partnership program between Dior and Ewha Womans University, which aims to realize a sustainable society by nurturing talented women and promoting gender equality. The donation will be used for career development and scholarship programs for Ewha students, as well as establishing the infrastructure for educating successive generations.
After becoming the first Korean university to sign a partnership agreement with Dior in 2022, Ewha has operated mentoring and educational programs with Dior under a shared understanding on the value and importance of women’s education. Dior Fall Fashion Show, which took place in April 2022 at the Ewha Campus Complex (ECC), also garnered worldwide attention.
