Ewha-Wellesley Global Leadership Conference, the best women education program held in Korea
This conference is a pre-event of '2008 World Women's Forum' and is planned to teach practical and systematic core ability of leadership the global society requires. The speakers are consisted of professors of Ewha and Wellesley, CEOs of Korea and abroad, and professional lecturers of academic and business field and lecturers from the leadership education institute, Center for Creative Leadership, CCL.
Sinae Chun, the first Asian woman U.S. central government official, will be the keynote speaker of the conference and will be giving speech on 'Vision of the Future Leaders'. Following lectures and seminars will be on 'Global Leadership of 21st century', 'Negotiation and Conflict Management‘ and so on. There will also be a session where participants can meet CEOs and learn leadership of the real business world. CEOs; Shin-bae Kim, the SK Telecom president, Tae-young Chung, the Hyundai Card president, and Cordelia Chung the IBM vice president of Asian Pacific Region are giving lectures on 'Leadership in the changing world'.
In addition, there will be a workshop hosted by Center for Creative Leadership, CCL. The workshop will provide participants the chance to examine individual leadership capacity, receive feedback and inspect one's quality as a global leader.
In-hee Ham, the principal of Ewha School for Leadership Development that organized this conference said, "This conference will be the best leadership education program with the know-how of Ewha, the deliverer of Korean women leaders and Wellesley which produced so many women leaders of U.S.. This will be a unique chance to acquire knowledge on world-class women leadership that is even hard to experience abroad."
The conference is the first outcome of the 'Ewha-Wellesley World Women Leadership Program' which the prestigious women universities, Ewha and Wellesley organized under the vision of fostering world class women leader. Ewha will provide a new paradigm of women leadership education and play the frontier role of educating next women generation.
