Hyokyung Bahn Professor
Department of Computer Science and Engineering/Division of Artificial Intelligence and Software
Hyokyung Bahn is currently a full professor of computer science and engineering at Ewha Womans University. Before joining Ewha in 2002, he received the BS, MS, and PhD degrees in computer science and engineering from Seoul National University. His research interests include operating systems, system software, storage systems, embedded systems, system optimizations, and real-time systems. Prof. Bahn has published more than 180 papers in leading conferences and journals in these fields, including IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Computer, and ACM Transactions on Storage. Prof. Bahn also received the Best Paper Awards at the USENIX Conference on File and Storage Technologies (FAST) in 2013.
